Shelley Script is a formal, elegant English Roundhand calligraphy typeface designed by the legendary British type designer Matthew Carter in 1972.

The font is a faithful revival of the exquisite, fluid handwriting style of 18th-century English writing master George Shelley. It is characterized by an extremely small x-height relative to its dramatically long, sweeping ascenders and descenders.
