Type designer Vernon Adams initiated Rokkitt, an open-source geometric slab serif typeface family, in 2011. The robust, structured letterforms of late 19th and early 20th-century “Egyptian” slab serifs—such as Inland Type Foundry’s 1910 release, Litho Antique—heavily inspired it.
