What You Can Type With The Skinny
The Skinny has the full alphabet in upper and lowercase. There are no numbers, so you'll need a second font for dates, prices or phone numbers. Punctuation is limited, so look at the character map if you need a specific symbol. It doesn't include accented letters such as é or ñ, which makes it an English-only font.
Where The Skinny Works Best
The Skinny is a natural fit for greeting cards, journal pages and friendly social posts. Its lowercase letters are small compared to the capitals, so set it a size or two bigger than usual. The file has no kerning data, so in logos and big titles check pairs like AV, To and Wa and tighten the spacing by hand. Set it a bit larger than you would a normal text font. Handwriting styles lose their charm once they get too small to read comfortably. Because the family has more than one style, you can mix them in a single design for headings, subheadings and highlights.
