What You Can Type With Reflected

You get every letter from A to Z in both cases and all the numbers from 0 to 9, which means Reflected can handle full sentences, dates and prices. Common punctuation such as &, !, ? and @ is included as well. It also has the accented letters you need for Spanish, French, Portuguese and Italian.

How to Use the Alternate Letters in Reflected

Reflected has a stylistic set built in as OpenType features. In Illustrator and InDesign, open the Glyphs panel (Window > Type) and select a letter to see its alternates. In Photoshop, use Window > Glyphs. Figma shows them under the text settings as OpenType features. Microsoft Word can switch on stylistic sets in the Font dialog under Advanced. Canva and Cricut Design Space can't reach OpenType alternates, so for those, set the word in a desktop app first and import it as an SVG. Another 7 alternates are stored as separate characters, so you can copy them from Character Map on Windows or Font Book on a Mac and paste them anywhere, including Cricut Design Space and Canva. Its ligatures switch on by themselves in most design apps: certain letter pairs join into one specially drawn shape.

Where Reflected Works Best

Designers usually reach for fonts like Reflected when they're making posters, logos and eye-catching headlines. Its lowercase letters are tall compared to the capitals, which keeps it readable at smaller sizes. Use it for one standout word or headline and let simpler fonts handle the rest. Because the family has more than one style, you can mix them in a single design for headings, subheadings and highlights.
