What You Can Type With Lovadelic

With complete upper and lowercase letters and all ten digits, Lovadelic is ready for real wording, not just a single headline. Everyday marks like &, !, ? and @ are there too. Thanks to its accented letters, it also works for Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Italian, not just English.

How to Use the Alternate Letters in Lovadelic

Lovadelic has stylistic alternates, 13 stylistic sets and ornaments built in as OpenType features. In Illustrator and InDesign, open the Glyphs panel (Window > Type) and select a letter to see its alternates. In Photoshop, use Window > Glyphs. Figma shows them under the text settings as OpenType features. Microsoft Word can switch on stylistic sets in the Font dialog under Advanced. Canva and Cricut Design Space can't reach OpenType alternates, so for those, set the word in a desktop app first and import it as an SVG. Another 213 alternates are stored as separate characters, so you can copy them from Character Map on Windows or Font Book on a Mac and paste them anywhere, including Cricut Design Space and Canva. Ligatures and contextual alternates switch on by themselves: some letter pairs join into one shape and letters change to fit their neighbours, so repeated letters don't look copy-pasted. This works automatically in most design apps and modern browsers.

Where Lovadelic Works Best

Think of Lovadelic for posters, logos and eye-catching headlines. Its lowercase letters are small compared to the capitals, so set it a size or two bigger than usual. Use it for one standout word or headline and let simpler fonts handle the rest. Because the family has more than one style, you can mix them in a single design for headings, subheadings and highlights.
