Hangup Font
Billy Argel designed Hangup, a gritty and heavily stylized display typeface that captures raw, rebellious energy within the distorted typography genre. Operating primarily as an uppercase display font, it delivers maximum visual weight in short, high-impact phrasing rather than long blocks of text. Creative directors, street artists, and apparel designers frequently select Hangup to craft edgy graphic concepts across several key applications:
- Music & Entertainment — Rock, punk, and heavy metal album covers.
- Fashion & Lifestyle — Skateboarding deck graphics and streetwear apparel.
- Media & Cinema — Horror movie posters, thriller title sequences, and indie zines.
- Events & Marketing — Underground party flyers, festival signage, and street promo posters.
