Groovy Baby Font

Jessica Darnell designed and released Groovy Baby, a popular retro display typeface, through Darn Design. Drawing heavy inspiration from 1960s and 1970s psychedelic pop culture, the font captures a fun, funky, and nostalgic aesthetic.

It includes 227 characters spanning uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and standard symbols, featuring thick, bulbous letterforms with soft, rounded corners and casual geometries. It mimics hand-drawn poster titles from the disco and hippie eras to give text an instant playful energy, and the designer offers it free for personal use.
