What You Can Type With Angry

With complete upper and lowercase letters and all ten digits, Angry is ready for real wording, not just a single headline. Everyday marks like !, ? and # are there too. There are no accented letters like é or ñ, so it's best kept to English text. On top of that, it includes Cyrillic characters.

How to Use the Alternate Letters in Angry

Angry has stylistic alternates, a stylistic set and optional ligatures built in as OpenType features. In Illustrator and InDesign, open the Glyphs panel (Window > Type) and select a letter to see its alternates. In Photoshop, use Window > Glyphs. Figma shows them under the text settings as OpenType features. Microsoft Word can switch on stylistic sets in the Font dialog under Advanced. Canva and Cricut Design Space can't reach OpenType alternates, so for those, set the word in a desktop app first and import it as an SVG.

Where Angry Works Best

Designers usually reach for fonts like Angry when they're making book covers, magazine headlines and classic branding. Serif fonts shine in headlines and printed text. For long paragraphs on phones, check that it still reads well at small sizes.
