Morris Fuller Benton originally cut Agency FB Bold in 1932 as a single uppercase titling face named Agency Gothic, which David Berlow and Tobias Frere-Jones vastly expanded for Font Bureau in the 1990s. As a dramatically narrow, squared-off sans-serif display typeface, it provides a high-density, technical aesthetic ideal for action-oriented branding, sports graphics, and futuristic user interfaces.
