What You Can Type With Adios Script Pro

With complete upper and lowercase letters and all ten digits, Adios Script Pro is ready for real wording, not just a single headline. Common punctuation such as &, !, ? and @ is included as well. It also has the accented letters you need for Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Italian. Of its 1,446 glyphs, about 1,086 are not on your keyboard at all. That is where the alternates explained below live.

How to Use the Alternate Letters in Adios Script Pro

Adios Script Pro has swashes, stylistic alternates, 8 stylistic sets, optional ligatures and ornaments built in as OpenType features. In Illustrator and InDesign, open the Glyphs panel (Window > Type) and select a letter to see its alternates. In Photoshop, use Window > Glyphs. Figma shows them under the text settings as OpenType features. Microsoft Word can switch on stylistic sets in the Font dialog under Advanced. Canva and Cricut Design Space can't reach OpenType alternates, so for those, set the word in a desktop app first and import it as an SVG. Ligatures and contextual alternates switch on by themselves: some letter pairs join into one shape and letters change to fit their neighbours, so repeated letters don't look copy-pasted. This works automatically in most design apps and modern browsers.

Where Adios Script Pro Works Best

Think of Adios Script Pro for greeting cards, journal pages and friendly social posts. Its lowercase letters are small compared to the capitals, so set it a size or two bigger than usual. Set it a bit larger than you would a normal text font. Handwriting styles lose their charm once they get too small to read comfortably.
